Michelle Tumes (米萧.托梅丝)是一名生于澳大利亚Adelaide的现代基督乐歌手兼创作人。四岁开始学习钢琴。十几岁时接受了两正统古典钢琴教育，从此立志以音乐为业。在她省吃俭用的妹妹资助下，她录制了一盘样带，并很快被一家澳洲唱片公司看中。不久迁居美国，随即替Jaci Velasquez写出了基督乐榜冠军歌“If this world”。但作为个人发展，她一开始并不是一帆风顺的。直到1998年人签约Sparrow公司推出首张个人专辑《Listen》，由两获Dove Award大奖（一项New age界权威的奖项）的Charlie Peacock监制。除了这首“Feel”以外，Paease Come Back等也成为大热。她也因此获当年Dove Award最佳新人奖提名。从此一发不可收，短短几年内就推出6张专辑。
意想不到的是，michelle tumes的歌曲其实有不少是很soft的，音乐是古典的，可是演奏又有着现代的声音。我常常将她的音乐和new age混在一起的。确实，Michelle的歌有着new age的一切基本元素，但是有一点不同的是，它的流行元素比new age重很多，还有一些歌偏向rock。
Michelle Tumes，一个澳大利亚的基督教歌手。她众多的歌曲中，只有一首流入了中国，就是《Feel》。《Feel》可以说是rock music,不管从歌曲的节奏方面来说，还是配乐乐器来说。再加上michelle tumes的声线，她的《feel》并没有在我脑海中留下很深的印象。。《FEEL》用了大量的弦乐组成伴奏的和声主题，淋漓尽致的将那种推山倒海却无所畏惧的气势演绎了出来。放大音量，歌一开头音乐一起气势便出来了，非常恢宏大气的感觉。Michelle Tumes 的声线是大气，轻盈，飘渺。
