以20多年收集中国经典古兵器的经验为基础，以对古兵艺术狂热、执着的追求为原动力，以为人朴实、诚信作风为养料，文涛坊在古兵界占得一席之地。
制作的产品以传统刀剑风格为主流，尽现唐剑华美、宋刀质朴、元代兵器粗旷 、豪迈……的特点，对中国古兵器文化的有序传承起到积极的作用。
1998年作访成功打造出第一把传统花纹剑；2001年破译恢复中国古刀剑传统锻造工艺的奥秘——“花纹钢技术”，2002年作品仿清唐草纹方鞘宝刀在北京新时代展览中荣获金奖；2004年台湾锻造师“陈荣梁”先生合作制作的“飞云剑”受到泰国公主亲睐……文涛坊制作的产品参加各地展览并远销台湾、日本、韩国乃至美国，受到各界人士的亲睐。
另外文涛坊还为国内外古兵器收藏家先后修复古兵器数百件，收到同仁的好评。
每一件作品都凝聚着每一位匠人的心血，每个细节都一丝不苟，每个部位都极致到位，不同年代的刀与剑都采用不同的型饰，尽现当时古兵器的风格及特点。剑身上的旋纹波脊，掀起惊天骇浪；流水曲线，更显凌厉风姿；刀身的纹饰或花草或走兽或云龙；切割有痕的刀法，粗旷见美、精中见奇、斩削无迹、细若传神；刀、剑包鞘有几十种材料配以传统工艺力求精尽，外饰铜、铁、镂空、浮雕，错银鎏金、阴刻镶嵌，千变万化，集匠人智慧大成。

In 1998 the center successfully maked the first traditional patterned sword ; In 2001 breaked a code the center restoreed the Chinese ancient dao and
sword traditional forging craft mystery - "the patterned steel technology", in 2002 the fan qing tang cao wen fang qiao saber won the honor of the golden prize in the Beijing newtimes display, in 2004 the “Fei Yun sword” which cooperated by the Taiwan swordsmith Chen Rong Liang got the affection of the Thai princess.
The wen tao dao and sword manufacture center’s products display all over the world and sell to Tai Wan ,Japan, Krea, and the US, also get very
good feedback by all the people.
The wen tao dao and sword manufacture center repaired several hundred ancient dao and sword for the domestic and foreign collector, received colleague’s highly praise.
Each work is condensing craftman’s painstaking care, each detail is scrupulous, all parts reach the highest level, different weapon reflects the character of the different age.
Some
pattern of the blade likes wild wave in the ocean ,some like the running water from the hill, some like dragon in the cloud. The handle and sheath is traditional hand made, all the material is hand carved made by cooper and steel, and plated with gold and silver, centralism the smith’s wisdom.
